I like fables. They're often contrived; but I like their succintness, I like that they teach a lesson, and I like that they're good for passing on to children.

I've read all of Aesop and Ambrose Bierce's fables. Do you have any to recommend?

ok here ya go:
1.) as i lay dying
2.) short stories of gabriel g marquez
3.) picture of dorian gray

all were fun reads. not too challenging except for marquez. and rewarding
