ill be 22 in a few days,
i went through a year of intense depression leading up to my 21st birthday but learnt a lot through it,
this year i decided to read a lot and relax a lot to make up for throwing away the last few years in pain, conflict, and also cheap fun, retardation, simping,
now i will be 22, not old but not very young anymore either, and i know i need to man up and be a man, and face the challenges of life,
and i am worried if i could,
i guess ive read enough, more than most people around me have in their entire lives,
but to me its enough for a year or so,
now i need to get ripped, and build some discipline,
there's a sense of lingering anxiety inside of me and bad habits that make me wanna give up easy but i will try my best to face them.

to quote popular literature here as its /lit -
i want to become like a mogger like a hero from the iliad, on one hand ready to verbally slap them like odysseus or achilles would when questioned,
and on the other pushing on ahead no matter what like odysseus in the odyssey

I'm 30 years old NEET loser, and well, things finally came crashing down, and I'm completely lost and very depressed, there's any books that could give a good insight for me on how to change my life? I'm seriously thinking of rope myself.

>go to get something to eat
>open the fridge
>decide I want a glass of orange juice
>immediately stop myself and get a glass of milk instead

I've literally just defeated determinism. The universe put everything in motion for me to get a glass of orange juice. And yet, I sit here now drinking milk.

Determinism is a childish and easily refuted philosophy maintained by those who don't want to be held responsible for their own actions.
