Reading literature is a dead hobby. Even the many of you who force yourselves to read clearly don't enjoy reading. The gaping lack of comprehension you have of these texts proves your lack of engagement. You read to feign some sense of elitism even if you don't want to read and don't want to understand the texts. I would say there are zero regular posters here who legitimately enjoy reading.

The same people who froth at the mouth when Emerson is mentioned are the same people who conform to an ideology and shame those who don't conform. It's so pathetic watching these people rage. They make themselves a slave to a transient ideology while Emerson's words are eternal.
