>I don't understand authenticity. I heard that it's sticking to your own personal values contra the values of the masses, but I bring up whether Hitler was being authentic and they say it's not appropriate to consider Hitler or Nazis as "authentic" because their values aren't acceptable, but that literally fits the definition they gave for authenticity, and they keep going on about how Hitler's ideas are unacceptable no matter what.
