How could Camus be a moralist when it goes against the idea of absurdism and existentialism?

Hi guys, I'm pretty new to being a /lit/izen, but I love, love, love Camus, just something about the way he writes is so enrapturing. What other authors are similar to Camus in terms of themes and prose?

Camus thought that to escape from nihilism you had to break the metaphysics, which doesn't make sense. Because then there was no nihilism from the beginning. Which subsequently invalids Sartre's thoughts of ultimate freedom; because if one has to do something to achieve higher then there was a metaphysic for that from the beginning. Which invalidates their fucking philosophies, fucking retards.

why is the stranger seen as so mind-blowing? I first read it without knowing anything about camus, and by itself it just seemed like a tale about a weird apathetic dude. I came around to it but only after learning abiut his philosophy
