You are misconstruing my argument as one of degrees rather than one of kinds.

I dont think I put any positivity in my argument at all. I feel you may be lashing out. Its not sadism, I would say its a simple difference in core ontology.
People dont necissarily evaluate suffering equally, or have it as a main criteria of ethics.
