Other than what's been mentioned already ITT, Andre Gide's "The Immoralist" is a semi-autobiographical novel about a man on his honeymoon, in Africa, with his sick wife. During the novel, he grows inappropriately close to several young African boys. Also, the first few chapters of Moby Dick were so cozy that I almost wanted to find a cannibal tribesman for the snuggles. The whole book is gay in a broad sense (and a case could be made for Melville's being gay for Hawthorne, though not, I think, a good one).
