>Technological singularity happens
>Earth ends up in a universal custodianship where all jobs have been outsourced to automation and AI.
>Humans spend their lives pampered and living in utopia with nothing to worry about
>Life now has no meaning or purpose.
>Everyone is depressed and miserable.
>Rates of homicide and suicide go through the roof and behavior is erratic and totally unpredictable.

Is there any Sci-Fi dealing with this or a similar concept? Does this sound like a good theme for a book?
