Nabokov's personal philosophy (hedonism with faberge egg characteristics) explicitly rejects the search for meaning. Both Sartre and Camus claim that we must search for meaning in spite of its apparent absence. Of course he'd hate them.

The funny thing is, you could make an existentialist argument that Nabokov lived authentically. He knew who he was, and by all accounts lived a life true to his penetrating sense for beauty. That was his way of rolling the big rock up the hill.

They're entry-level and decent, which means they're talked about more than they deserve. In a vacuum, I wouldn't have anything against either, but the fact that so many Freshman and Sophomore philosophy and literature students (typically white sadbois) fawn over the Frenchies is irritating.

Interesting that you'd assume only trans women think that trans women are valid. Reflects a lack of familiarity with the literature. I hope that you change your view and become a better ally to the women who face the most oppression of all.

I recommend reading:
>Gender Trouble, Judith Butler

Or, if you'd prefer a video:
>What is Gender?, Contrapoints

For the record, I was assigned female at birth, but I currently identify as genderfluid.
