Why is he so unpopular? I mean I don't doubt that he wasn't as big of a deal as Aquinas or Augustine but when people talk about how there wasn't anything interesting going on in western philosophy between Augustine and Anselm he very rarely gets mentioned despite the Periphyseon being so comprehensive and elaborate.
