A lot of fiction would end up being more Landian if you just take out the good ending.

I know Land *really* likes the Terminator series, but he has also devoted an essay to Gibson's Sprawl trilogy.

This monologue from the Matrix always gives me the chills, and it captures a lot of Landian insights.

In short: the world has been taken over by an alien intelligence (capitalism) and you are, at best, a node in the China brain.
