Gita is short but not terribly relevant for doctrinal exposition you're looking for. The core Upanishads listed will suffice. Just substitute the late Platonists for the gnostics (Porphry, Plotinus, Syrianus, Iamblichus, Eriugena), you'll get more mileage.
