So now that the dust has settled: why are people so obsessed with reading books in their original language? You idiots are not fluent, you don’t know the connotations of the words, you don’t understand the references, let someone who is trained in that translate it for you it’s going to be better then your own shitty attempt

For me it’s the easiest way to identify pseuds - you didn’t even really _read_ the book, you just read the words
