After getting to study the Summa Theologica in a class room setting im convinced Catholicism is the most comprehensive and internally coherent worldview. Except for that single issue of believing in God.

I am agnostic. I've heard all the major arguments, from Aquinas's Aristotlean proofs to Emerson's ideas about intuition. None of them convinced me. I want to be a Catholic, but I am unconvinced of that single fundamental premise. It seems impossible to prove or refute, and that can be said of any philosophy, since "the more known cant be proven by the less known,". Can one you guys help?

Does one need "demons" to be a great writer?
