What are some good fiction books that don't have a "main character" so to speak. It can either be because there is a group of characters which all share *equal* attention or that there aren't any characters which receive special attention in the first place. I'm just curious if such a thing exists, since when discussing fiction the primary topic is usually the quality of the "MC".

If a translated book is really a work of fiction by the translator, it would stand to reason that translations of fiction "count" provided one cites the translator and not the "inspiration."

This allows us pseuds to reach levels of obscurity previously unknown. Saying "I love Tolstoy" is pedestrian, but saying "I am currently engrossed in the short stories of Michael Katz" (translator of Tolstoy for Norton) is impeccable.
