Does genius necessitate eccentricity?

Reading about Erik Satie for example, he was obviously very eccentric and his music was also eccentric but obviously evidence of great talent. Writers like Kafka, DFW, Dostoesvky (just to name some that immediately come to mind) were also obviously quite eccentric. I can think of a few writers however who lived apparently rather normal lives, but there's still something that tells me that being a little weird, or at least willing to express oneself completely, is necessary to produce great works of art.
