Indescribably based. Don't care if I'm redditposting right now, but someone finally had the nuts to call out any faggot that only reads for social clout and not for the material. It's one of the reasons I hate there's a "canon" of literature: people act like these books are absolutely necessary to be a well-rounded person when they themselves aren't when they finish them and there are a plethora of great books to read that aren't part of that canon. I suspect it has to do with publishers pushing this meme for monetary gain.
