Is there literature which avoids any sort of story based structure and instead speaks only in an abstract, avant garde way? So like, instead of people talking about human affairs such as war, love, jealousy, and all these sorts of human condition type stuff, if the book focused more on the purely abstract. It's hard to imagine what you'd talk about in a story like that, but I'm sure it can be done.

What other plays are like Beckett's Waiting for Godot? I like this theater where there's abstract dialog that seems to cut to the heart of the human experience, without relying on dramatic events or entertainment as much as being a philosophical meditation.
