Dune isn't even the best science fiction.

There's a pretty good mini-series with Charles Dance playing Korellen. It's worth checking out.

I am at the WTF AM I READING point in this book...should I push on ?

This is taking me a long time to get through but i'm not quite sure why, can someone tell me? I quite enjoy it but i'm only on page 48 after a few days, i think the worlds very interesting and the humors nice too, is the vocabulary in this book considered advance? He uses a lot of latin and the paragraphs can feel long winded a lot of times but i don't know if that's what's putting me off.

A Canticle for Leibowitz directed by Terrence Malick. The create destroy create cycle of human civilization would be awesome.
