Right now I'm reading this dope collection of gay 80s sci-fi/fantasy short stories. Pic related.

Some people at my work hosted a "Date with a Book" event and I ended up with Pawn of Prophecy. Classic Eddings. Just glad I didn't get landed with fucking Harry Potter. I can't believe someone even brought that in.

Kinda bummed since UKLG died. Bought her last book and it's just okay; she was old. Wondering if there's anyone out there doing what she did. Got a nice collection off Amazon, though, of the Hainish cycle stories, so I'm also working through that.
