Reading an essay for my English class at CC:
>At the core of the argument that we should resist all government regulation of speech is the ideal that the best cure for bad speech is good, that ideas that affirm equality and the worth of all individuals will ultimately prevail. This is an empty ideal unless those of us who would fight racism are vigilant and unequivocal in that fight.

>think of 4chan.
>understand his point completely.

Hi /lit/.

I'm looking for a world-view changing read. Something that shows a different perspective, or is somehow "enlightening."

Any suggestions?
