I'm an acclaimed writer in my country. (obviously, I'm not going to tell you my name, or the name of the place I come from - most of you have probably never heard of me anyways). My books sell - which is already an achievement in the shithole I come from. I've been invited on TV. A thesis about my work has been published. And yet I'm a fraud. I have never been invested in a single word I've written. I know how to write a novel : it's what I'm good at, so I do it. But I don't like literature, I don't like reading, and I don't like writing. God has cursed me with hating the only thing I'm talented at. In the end, the only thing I truly love is the fame, hearing and seeing my name, and the feeling of being important.
