so i bought eastward to play a jrpg this weekend cuz the screenshots look cool, but now i remember why i don't play jrpgs anymore. so fucking boring. the "gameplay" is just an insignificant interlude between dialogue. it's like watching tv but instead of ads u have to bash a slime or whatever before u can see the next part. the pixel art graphics are great and the music is good, but there is no game there.
