What do you read on a comfy Saturday? I've recently read Unterm Birnbaum by Theodor Fontane and found it quite comfy.
Feel free to post your recommendations and talk about German literature and culture!

Don't be afraid of using apps like Duolingo or Babbel, they are also great tools, especially for training listening comprehension.

Have you read a good Trauerspiel lately? Which tragedies or plays in general can you recommend?
I've recently read Schiller's Maria Stuart and it's a masterpiece. The protagonists, the question it raises about political necessity, morals, women as rulers, I cant recommend it enough.
I also love Grabbes tragedies, I've especially enjoyed Hannibal and Gothland. Gothland is a truly disturbing and shocking play.

Also, feel free to post some general German book recommendations and talk about German literature.
