>to state that LOTR is not specifically about modern politics is either peak idiocy or is a completly biased
You say that but what was Aragorn's tax policy?

P.S. You're a retard.

Q: From the fourth book you have been uncovering some chapters with nicknames, like ‘The Prophet’ or ‘The Kraken’s Daughter’. Why do you do that? --

GRRM: Well… [Thinks for a long time with an enigmatic smile] I don’t know if you know Gene Wolfe, one of the best science fiction and fantasy writers, in my opinion. Well, his work is full of puzzles and enigmas and you have to put a lot of attention on what he is saying. I remember one day I asked him: “Why do you use that? Is there a deeper reason beyond?” And he didn’t say anything at the beginning except Leia uses the force finally, Kylo Ren kills Supreme Leader Snoke, Luke turned Ben Solo into Kylo because he had a failed assassination attempt on him, Yoda appears as a force ghost and Admiral Ackbar dies. He just smiled me ironically and said to me: “What do you think it means?” And I told him my theories. Then, he answered: “Interesting…” [Laughs]. That’s all you wanna get out of me, but I have to say this is not an accident [Laughs]. --

Is that why carnists are so fat, because they overfill themselves with joules they don't need? Pretty sure a kilo of rice per week will fare better than a kilo of beef. Anyway, greenhouse gases from bovines or sheep (they fart a lot) is bad for the ozone. Growing more crops will help bring down CO2 (photosynthesis). Even swapping to insects is a great idea, I'm completely good for switching to a high-protein diet that wont take up huge swathes of land, energy, water, petrol, etc. Insects don't really need an "ethical" death, but you can kill them easily by just freezing them.

Yes, you're certainly special, anon. No one thinks you're a basic fantasy dork. Tolkein made his own languages! Not even GRRM di-, oh wait...

I'm not. I've never even heard of that, never mind read it. I just remember having that in the author recommendations section at the start of The Name of the Wind.

>only you

I guess you missed that part yesterday where a whole bunch of people were saying they don't intend to finish the books ever. Yeah, man, it must be just me. Just can't understand BASED Erikson's complex world-building and plotting.

They're just different stereotypes, that's all. But that's all he's working with. Read a good series sometimes, anon. Maybe GRRM can clue you in on what good characterization is.
