How was Final Fantasy so good bros, I wouldn't like it now but to be exposed to it as a child was the greatest blessing. I taught myself English to play my copy of Final Fantasy 7 and thanks to that I would become philoamerican later in my youth. Indirectly, I have to thank Final Fantasy if am posting on this Sudanese pro skateboarding chatroom. It got me into rock music, it got me into anime, it got me into Dungeons and Dragons, it got me into the occult, Yuffie got me into flat chested tomboys and Red XIII being so cool probably paved the way to turning me into a furry.
I spent so many days grinding levels so I could kill the Emerald Weapon while other kids were doing sports. I never made friends IRL but Final Fantasy was there with me. Thank you Squaresoft for improving my life.

My dog just died. He was a 7 year old Weimaraner. All he every did was love me and as a typical human I reciprocated as much as I could. But it never met the bar that he set. The cause of death is unknown. Most likely a cardiac event, maybe neurological. Doesn't fucking matter because he is gone. He died alone in a kennel while I left for vacation. I hate myself. I hate that we form these meaningless bonds with animals that live 1/10 the amount we do. I'm just sick. Gunna go drown myself in a gin bottle now.

there will be a time in the future when all philosophy and psychology will be considered useless and archaic. neuroscience and further advances in physics will just make them completely obsolete. Plato will be just seen as a literary relic rather than someone to be studied and taken seriously. the only branch of philosophy that will probably survive is the political one (the worst one), but even that could probably be made useless too.
