I made this thread yesterday but fell asleep when it only had three posts.

I read a bunch of random fucking books and became enlightened. I feel bad for some of you motherfuckers, so you can ask me anything literary. Particular suggestions about what to ask include Henry Miller and Thomas Pynchon, two American 20th-century authors. Pic related, it’s Henry Miller.

>Writing about sex and death long before the beatniks made it cool
>Actually a brilliant wordsmith, almost as good as Nabokov or Joyce
>Immediately plants you in the story from the first word

Why do I feel like Henry Miller doesn't get the credit he deserves nowadays? He was a genius and wrote one of the "Great American Novels" but nobody ever talks about him or cites him. Was it SJWs?

Anyway, loving Tropic of Cancer so far. What should I read next?
