I want to learn more about Stalin. Since he was such a major figure in 20th century history, I'm a bit spoiled for choice as far as biographies are concerned. What biographies would /lit/ recommend? Preferably I'd like to hear from /lit/izens who have read more than one biography, so that they at least have some point of reference, though all opinions are welcome. Currently I'm already leaning towards Simon Sebag Montefiore's two books 'Young Stalin' & 'The Court of the Red Tsar'.
