Weed makes you a worse writer. It worsens cognition and decreases memory. Best thing to smoke for writing is tobacco. Most influential authors over the past 500 years were tobacco smokers.

Massive cognitive gains. The higher the IQ, the greater one will benefit. Tobacco is nicer than pure nicotine, as it has anxiolytic effects. Nicotine alone is anxiogenic.

Yet another one of the great authors who benefited immensely from the practice of tobacco smoking. Tobacco is a mental elixir without equal, conferring stimulation, creativeness, antidepressant effects, and mental elevation.

>You could at least be getting high for the same price,
>You could buy a dimebag of pot and be in bliss without the risk of horrible death for the same price as a pack.
Tobacco stimulates the mind and helps with focus. Cannabis, especially chronic, does the reverse and dumbs it down. People read on tobacco. Cannabis consumers watch Richard Mortemer
Users of tobacco do not smoke for recreation. They smoke it because it is a mental performance enhancement drug whether they recognize it themselves or not. The brain knows it is good for them. That's why the dumbest people are the most dependent because it enables them to perform and work in the world.

>smokes will tell you that it activates the almonds, but only because they can't stop
That's not why. Most smokers who can't stop are low IQ morons unable to justify why, and admit "yeah, I know it's bad!". They don't have a nicotine addiction, they have a behavioral addiction. That's like saying dirt is "addictive" because there low IQ people with pica consuming it.

It's research indicating that it aids performance, not "smoker's who can't stop".
https://www.gwern.net/Nicotine#performance

Intelligent people who use nicotine aren't addicted to it. Nicotine, especially by itself, is only as addictive as caffeine. That's it. Like coffee, nicotine withdrawal is a mild headache. It's not hedonistic in the slightest. Even tobacco, intelligent people are able to consume without feeling compelled to do it.
