I've wondered about this sort of inarticulately. I guess it's hard for me to conceive of realistic scenarios in which it would be important without getting into the male fantasy land of bar fights and saving people from a mass shooter or something.

It's better to think of the Bible as a collection of individual books spanning countless authors over hundreds of years, thousands if you factor in the Council of Trent, rather than a single unitary body of work.
Searching for continuity is a dead end. Some of the books are dogshit and some had a permanent impact on all literature that came after it. I recommend
