Currently about 1/3 of the way through pic related. It's well-written and some of the anecdotes are very interesting, but as someone who doesn't know much about medieval France it's hard for me to judge whether Huizinga's arguments are correct. He jumps around a lot in terms of both time and place, and I've had to look up a lot of stuff.
