He cut his teeth making clickbait for Cracked. Those guys encouraged him to copy the Daily Show/John Oliver (i.e. reddit) format and when he amassed enough viewship from their base he left and branched the show to his own channel. He's a Bernie bro who loves AOC and the squad (he spergs about the DNC establishment sometimes but nothing triggers him as much as a hint of conservatism)--midwits think that makes him edgy.
