QUESTION /LIT/:

I'm writing some short fiction from the perspective of an inner city youth (black). The problem is, at some point this guy would probably say the N word. Am I allowed to write the N word when I'm writing about a black guy? I feel if I don't include it then the writing will be inaccurate and not give the true portrayal of an inter city youth.

Thanks

I'm reporting this thread. This is a book series aimed specifically at children while this board is 18+ and intended for adults; the series has absolutely zero literary merit, as I know because I read these books when I was in the first fucking grade; and also I don't want the emotionally stunted manchildren who still like and read these books to accidentally leave their containment thread and start browsing /lit/. To tell you the truth, I'm a little bit offended that these people would even feel comfortable posting their dumbass remarks about Cool Owl #3's superpowers on this board.
