The Viking edition is closest to the original, but I've always cherished my smaller gold Bantam mass-market edition. At one time, it was the most widely distributed copy, so it's what most have experienced Gravity's Rainbow with.

Mine's been just about everywhere with me. It's a bit ugly, but there's something great about small, heavy books.

what's with people caring about editions here? do some of them have major typos or something? i have pic related is that bad? are there like serious typos in it or something or is it just for the swag factor?
