And I think any sane man would agree with the 1 percent having too much money, but it's impossible to escape, it's pareto distribution, it's a build-in feature of human conditioning. To blame that on the oppressive system that it's happening in is to radically underestimate the complexity of having to divide resources properly from the very top and keep it there. It always shoots back up, which is why we have to tax every single month, and why some people suggest doing so every single week.

Marx didn't know how to solve it, Lenin didn't, no Batista movement can, no Ukrainian free-state, no country under capitalism (which is not an entity, but for the sake of argument) can, it's impossible.

ok /lit/, now that Fassy is confirmed to lead in Joe Nesbo's "The Snowman" I've got to read the novel, but the thing is it's like the fucking 7th book in a 10 book series. I've heard that they don't really get good until the 4th and have read generally good praise for them all from then onwards. I'm asking if anybody here has read some/all of them and could point me in a good starting point, give me a "best of selection" or tell me that it matters fuck all which order I read them in and that I'll be fine reading just "The Snowman" from the get go

You can't be naive to think that you can really, really know how Christ was through the bible. Reading speaks much more from the reader than the text itself.
