Right now I have to read Bastard Out of Carolina and I am almost at the end. In fact I already know the ending since it was for school and I am a little late on the reading. I must say I am very impressed. I would give it a 7/10 it really is just To Kill a Mockingbird blended with a Lifetime film

>Best book you've read
I would have to say The Trial. The tone, the comedy, the world, the absurdity and the existential themes all just came together for a fun book.
>Good but too short
Diary of a Madman. I really wish that was a longer story because it is so funny.
>Meh book
Oracle Night by Paul Auster. I thought there was so much things he could have done with the plot but it ended up just being really flat
>Worst book
Diary by Chuck Paliniuk. That was a really bad book.
>Kill it with fire
Most of Chuck Palaniuck's work. He handles his stories the same way.

I just read sonnets 19 and 55 by Shakespeare and I was wondering what were some more poetry like it.
I love how in both sonnets he has a clear point, but he is able to gracefully put the perfect words to them in such a beautiful way.
I have checked the recommended reading list, but I am rather uneducated in verses so a more direct recommendation would be nice.
