Hi /lit/, a couple weeks ago I went to my local Kava bar and there was this girl with a chess game set in front of her and a paper note that said “I’m mute, play chess with me” so my autistic ass went and sat in front of her and asked if I could play with her but she ACTUALLY was mute and I think deaf too, so we communicated writing on the notepad of my phone. I don’t know sign language, is there any good books on it? Or maybe books on better ways to talk to deaf-mute people? Is there any books on a relationship where one of them is deaf-mute? She’s pretty but I’m scared I’ll end up tangled in an uncomfortable relationship.
