Last semester i took a third year course that was essay oriented and I did terrible my average will probably be C+. /lit/ how can I improve my writing? Although I am a second year student I feel like my writing has not improved since high school, are there any books out there that can help me?

^Can somebody fix the grammar here? Is it who or whom? Can I get rid of the hyphens?

What of the following is right and what is wrong and why?

I am happier than Paul.
I am more happy than Paul.

Sue is luckier than Paul.
Sue is more lucky than Paul.
