We need to stop putting mothers on a pedestal. You guys get to buy cheap books in English where here they are extremely expensive, and reading in my native language is an absolute hell. The best translation we have of the Illiad was made in the 1900s in a foreign dialect. You don't appreciate it how easy you guys have it. You can just pick up any book for cheap and start reading it.
