So as someone who's been working on ML and stats for years, this is the "go to" book written by the director of research at Google and very encompassing.

Secondly, GPT3 is now in open beta so google it and sign up and jump right in.

But yeah to really learn the technical details, it's just stats and economics (cost to train the models n such).

I find it interesting that the concept of racism wasn't created until very recently. Does anyone have any more information on this? I remember reading that Trotsky supposedly was one of the first people to use the term as a way to browbeat dissidents but I'm not sure if that's true.
