Hello, /lit/. What is some good literature with erotic themes, but not necessarily erotica? Something in the vein of Duras’ The Lover, or maybe even Lolita. Kinky is good, but not stuff that’s too far out (so 500 Days of Sodom might be a bit too extreme, for instance).

What are /lit/'s views on alliteration in prose?

I often find myself actively seeking alliterative ways to compose my sentences and synonyms to add a flourish and a rhythm to my descriptions. Can it be over done? Does it have a time and a place?
