Is the increasing prevalence of ad hominem arguments a symptom of declining IQ/attention span?

With the blackpill becoming more mainstream and retards like Hasan Piker gaining popularity, it's only a matter of time before more Chads tap into this untapped spring. I already see it with the rise of Gigachad/Basedjak memes, Zoomers literally can't argue without caricaturizing their opponents as sexless incels and themselves as Chads. It's over for the West desu ngl.

Why is soijak so funny?

>Basedposting is important to history as an example of forum/image board culture on the Internet. Not only does it perfectly summarize the spreading of the simple template of which it was made from (rendering someone who is unliked by the creator into a childish mocking), it demonstrates the culture on everything from simple text based image boards to social media of constant anger; sites like Facebook were caught promoting political content their algorithm thought the user would disagree with; all this so that the user would be enraged and spend more time on the site, seeing more ads, and therefore increasing Facebook profit. The anonymous communication of sites like 4channel & basedjak dot party allows users to hide under a veil and express their raw emotions rather than hide them like they would in real life, not wanting to discredit their own built image of themselves. With anonymous sites, image is almost entirely removed & users feel free to type out the simplest emotions that came to them; no one could know who they were, no one would care, no one could do anything if they typed out an apelike, idiotic, ridiculous post. So this is why these “basedjaks” are created; a manifest of the most childish understanding of disagreement founded by freedom to temporarily devolve back into that glorious, raw, simple, beautiful human nature.

Gigachad and Basedjak are the quintessence of the memetic and cultural decline of 4chan. After regurgitating innumerable wojak and pepe edits, the memetic power of the imageboard that began to dwindle in the last decade exhausted its creative potential and reached a limit in the mid 2010s culminating finally with a tasteless series of highly-exploitable memes representing the simplistic dualism of the generation Z mentality. Unlike their predecessors, Gigachad and basedjak memes collapse all the subtleties of 4chan memes into a yin-yang-like paradigm that a newborn could easily understand, the sole intention of this meme is to convey approval and disapproval towards an individual anonymous user, an ideology or a statement that the majority of the 4chan users collectively choose to accept or vilify. Basedjack and Gigachad are the incarnation of the upvote/downote system of Reddit, a testament to the death of the website which once has been acknowledged as the last bastion of the internet unconquered by the extensive influence of the social media, the mark of the fall and death of the internet counter culture.
