I liked The Dispossessed and Lavinia, but her most famous are the EarthSea books though.

I also like her nonfiction collections

General truism. A good writer can cover over not knowing something that they write about with skill.
So if you know writing, you’ll do fine.
A little research when you feel the need can also go a long way.
Good book btw

There’s nothing wrong with social justice, there’s nothing wrong with women’s rights, and the latter works of hers I read had nothing objectionable.
The squawking going on ITT sounds like either extremely fragile /r9k/ tards or trolls acting like them. She’s very mild and sensible in her feminism

There’s a variety of books with some good advice.
Le Guin taught creative writing classes for years. You might find some of this of interest

Le Guin talks about the rhythm of LotR in an essay of pic related. The inhale/exhale of it, and mentions the film cutting out all the relaxed parts for all the action. She liked them both, but the films felt too rushed and unrelenting

Le Guin talk about that in this book. She apparently got the ideas from a letter Virginia Woolf wrote to a colleague. Pretty neat idea.

I don’t think it would be any different with books. Just read something “comfy” like Le Guin or something

Men are (generally) simple to understand. They're like dogs (Not to sound demeaning)

Women (again, in general) are more complex individuals, and, perhaps, have more variety.
They are like cats.

Not all dogs and cats hate each other, but they often bristle from their differences.
