The Iliad and Odyssey
The Histories
The Apology
The Theban Plays
End with the Republic

Congrats you now have read more than 90% of posters on this board. If you’re interested you can read more of the Greeks right away (More Plato, Aristotle, Aristophanes, Apollonius, the Pre-Socratics) or move on. If you want to get seriously into philosophy you will eventually have to cover most of P&A’s works

I don't need to cope with it since I'm not trying to achieve anything ridiculous or extravagant in life.

At most death will just interrupt me making a sandwich, going to work, having sex, reading a book, etc...big deal.
