The School Of Life: An Emotional Education By Alain De Botton
King, Warrior, Magician, Lover By Robert Moore and Douglas Gillette
The Screwtape Letters By C.S. Lewis.
The Great Divorce By C.S. Lewis.
Beyond Bullying: Breaking the Cycle of Shame, Bullying And Violence By Jonathan Fast (SJW stuff inside, but overall IMO it shows that an inability to manage shame is a key emotional motivator for passive-aggression and aggression. Our subconscious will drag us towards being dicks to people, if we don't learn how to manage feelings of shame in a healthy way - a very good companion to King, Warrior, Magician and Lover IMO.

IMO your post is the reverse of the Feminists who try to present the notion that the feminine emotional life is superior.

The masculine or feminine emotional is not superior or 'deeper' than the other, they are just different.

There not need to try to present the way of one demographic as superior to the other, simply because you belong to the member of that demographic, and are inclined towards that way.

>Why are religions overwhelmingly demarcated by geography and familiar lines?
>Atheists have a very plausible claim for this,

Have you heard of Traditionalism or the Perennial Philosophy? If not, I recommend looking into it.

Cliffs: There is the Divine/Spirit. Then there are experiences and processes to commune with the divine filtered through culture and personalities, meaning religion. The esoteric aspects within religions are arguably in unison about the the nature of the Divine/Spirit, however the exoteric aspects of religion are in disagreement. (Sometimes the exoteric aspects of religion can be outright abhorrent, like advocating slavery and the death penalty for apostates).

>Also why did god purposefully say misleading things in the texts, such as talks about the firmament, when he knew one day we'd figure out that's imprecise?

The Power Of Myth By Joseph Cambell is probably the best explanation.

Myths are cultural fictional stories, often hyperbolic and heavily culturally influenced. They aren't supposed to be taken literally, but they are supposed to teach us; how to feel, what to value, and to inspire us to live.

>How do religions explain it?

1 and a half minute video re-explaining everything I just said;

>The entirety of political philosophy is built on a fallacy: that there is a system that actually "works", that all we need to do is find it.

Not Philosophical Conservatism, it's literally built on looking at what has worked, or what has worked over a long period of time.

Conservatism: An Invitation To The Great Tradition By Roger Scruton

A Political Philosophy: Arguments for Conservatism By Roger Scruton

Probably the only non-Utopian or experimental political philosophy that I've come across.
