If you're telling me that you have full bodily autonomy and independence, but employed people do not, can you go to Greenland tomorrow? I can. Employment gives people the resources to go wherever I want, but you're trapped by what's within walking distance if you can even convince yourself to go outside.

Do you have any actual experience wage cucking or do you just listen to other NEETs on here echochamber the same thoughts that also come from zero actual experiences. It's also worth saying that you can't learn to socialize if you don't go out and talk to people, that's literally what socializing IS. Having a job means actually doing that, which is absolutely going to improve your social skills.

This entire post is just defeatist. You've given up on yourself before ever even trying. Things will never get better for you if you don't challenge these thought processes. How could you understand fully what you've never experienced? You have an idea in the back of your head of what you're missing out on, you aren't stupid and you know this is a poor life, but you're too afraid of change. Take the risks, Anon. If it really isn't good then you can always go back, you have nothing to lose.

I don't see many downsides of goodreads, except that it's owned by Amazon and that it emphasizes on quantity rather than value
