Any love for Le Guin's Earthsea? I finished the original trilogy and enjoyed it a ton, the magic is truly mysterious, the writing is obviously beautiful and the world and its history is so evocative. I do believe the Farthest Shore was a bit of a rethread particularly with the theme of acceptance of death however the book was better written than the first one and better explained the concepts of opposite as compliments, so it doesn't fee unnecesary.
