The society we live in really rewards being goal oriented, and it's trite to say that the journey matters more than the destination, but I really try to see the beauty in even small things, and different perspectives. Ultimately you are the one who has to deal with being yourself all the time, so it can be important to be even brutally pragmatic about what you can sustain day to day, and how you ask the question is extremely important.
I enjoyed Alan Watts when I was in a low point, maybe check out pic related or maybe just some of his lectures floating around Youtube.
