As introduction start with 'the gnostic religion' by Hans Jonas.

This is easy to read but still very informative and insightful. Hans Jonas uses both historical and existential phenomenological (Heideggerian) methodology in examining gnosticism.

Then get into the primary texts (these can be difficult, but still always rewarding):
