What was the point of him making a fool of himself at the Zizek debate? Was his arrogance and ego really that big at the time he thought he could take on Zizek with the lazy preparation he made for it? What has he done afterward has learned anything or changed his views at all or was it all pointless?

SO THE CELEBRITY ATHEISTS (AND I THINK THAT'S AN APPROPRIATE LABEL, ALTHOUGH I SYMPATHIZE WITH THEM), THEY DON'T ADDRESS REAL CHRISTIANITY, WE ALL KNOW FUNDAMENTALISM DOESN'T EXIST, THE REAL ISSUE IS DOSTOYEVSKY, JUNG, ELIADE, CHRISTIANITY STARTED WITH THOSE GUYS. IT TOOK ABOUT 1700, 1800 YEARS FOR THE REAL CHRISTIAN MORALS TO COME OUT, BUT THAT'S WAS IT IS, THAT'S THE METAPHORICAL SUBSTRATE OF OUR SOCIETY.
